You want to finance a project in Africa and you run into the same wall as everyone else: there is no reliable way to know whether the company genuinely exists, whether its figures hold up, and what will happen after the transfer.
IGA reviews every file before publishing it, states on each listing exactly what has been verified — and what has not — and carries out quarterly monitoring of the projects that get financed.
What you get
- A directory you can filter by country, sector, amount bracket, stage of maturity and type of financing sought.
- A dated verification box on every file, setting out the exact scope of the checks performed.
- A data room for each project, opened once the project owner agrees and a confidentiality undertaking is signed. Documents are watermarked in your name and every download is logged.
- Quarterly monitoring of the projects you have financed, with automatic reminders and a mediation procedure.
Plans
Discovery — free. Summary listings, weekly alerts, one introduction request per quarter.
Investor — €600 per year. Full directory, advanced filters, twelve requests a year, sector notes.
Institutional — €4,500 per year. Multi-user access, unlimited requests, data export, quarterly pipeline review, two field visits arranged.
What we do not do
No funds pass through IGA: you contract with, and pay, the beneficiary directly. We provide no investment advice, no personal recommendation and no suitability assessment, and we guarantee the viability of no project. Investing in an unlisted company exposes you to the total loss of your capital, to illiquidity, and to country and currency risk.
