The IGA Standard is a single format for investment files, in three tiers according to the amount sought, usable from Lomé to Nairobi and legible to an investment committee in Toronto as much as to a local bank.

It sets out the documents expected, the structure of the business plan, the financial model, the risk grid and the reporting format.

It is published free of charge, in French and English, including for project owners who do not come through IGA. That is a deliberate choice: a standard only acquires value by becoming the sector’s norm.

The three tiers

Essential — for a need below €100,000.
Standard — from €100,000 to €1M.
In-depth — above €1M.
